Traditional uses include addressing menstrual discomfort, reducing nausea during pregnancy, and purported aphrodisiac effects. In these systems, ginger is often recommended to help ease menstrual cramps, stimulate circulation, and promote general reproductive wellness.

Scientific research on ginger’s direct effects on the reproductive system is still limited.
