Scientific evidence suggests that kale may support stomach and digestive health primarily through its fiber content, which aids in regular bowel movements and supports beneficial gut microbiota. Several studies have shown that dietary fiber from leafy greens like kale can improve stool consistency and promote digestive comfort.
Moreover, kale contains glucosinolates, compounds that are converted into bioactive substances (such as sulforaphane) during digestion.
