Goldenrod (Solidago spp.) has been traditionally used in European and North American herbal medicine to support urinary tract health, particularly as a diuretic and for managing urinary tract inflammation. Scientific studies, primarily from Europe, provide some validation for its use. The German Commission E has approved goldenrod for supportive treatment of bladder and kidney inflammation, as well as prevention and treatment of kidney stones.
