Chaff flower (Achyranthes aspera) has been used in traditional systems of medicine, particularly Ayurveda and other South Asian healing practices, to support urinary health. Historically, the plant is believed to possess diuretic properties, which are thought to promote urine flow and assist in the management of conditions such as kidney stones, urinary tract infections, and general urinary discomfort.
