19-NorAndrost-4ene-3b-ol,17-one, also known as norandrostenol or a related norandrostene derivative, is a synthetic anabolic-androgenic steroid (AAS) structurally related to nandrolone. Its use for supporting or treating low testosterone ("low T") has some scientific basis, as anabolic steroids can mimic or enhance the effects of endogenous testosterone. These compounds are known to bind androgen receptors, promoting anabolic effects and, in some cases, increasing androgenic activity.

However, the direct clinical evidence supporting the use of 19-NorAndrost-4ene-3b-ol,17-one specifically for the treatment of clinically diagnosed testosterone deficiency in humans is limited. Most studies and clinical applications focus on pharmaceutical-grade testosterone formulations or well-characterized synthetic derivatives like nandrolone decanoate. 19-NorAndrost-4ene-3b-ol,17-one is sometimes found in dietary supplements marketed for boosting testosterone or muscle mass, but its efficacy and safety for this purpose are not well-established in peer-reviewed clinical trials.
