In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), rehmannia root is considered a key ingredient for nourishing yin and replenishing blood, which are thought to be essential for female reproductive health. It is often included in herbal mixtures like "Liu Wei Di Huang Wan" and "Zhi Bai Di Huang Wan" that are prescribed for conditions such as infertility, irregular menstruation, and symptoms of menopause.
