Chinese Plumbago (Plumbago zeylanica, known as Bai Hua She She Cao in Traditional Chinese Medicine) has been traditionally used in Chinese herbal medicine to support the healing of injuries, including bruises, swelling, and traumatic pain. Historical Chinese medical texts often mention its use either alone or in herbal formulas to "activate blood circulation" and "remove blood stasis," which are concepts associated with treating injuries and promoting recovery.
