Eleuthero (Eleutherococcus senticosus), also known as Siberian ginseng, has a long history of use in traditional herbal medicine, particularly in Russia and parts of Asia. Traditionally, it has been used as an adaptogen—a substance believed to help the body resist physical, environmental, and emotional stressors. In the context of the female reproductive system, eleuthero has sometimes been included in herbal formulas intended to support overall vitality, energy, and resilience, which may indirectly influence reproductive health. However, there is very limited traditional documentation specifically linking eleuthero to direct support of female reproductive functions, such as hormonal balance, menstrual regulation, or fertility.

Modern scientific evidence for eleuthero’s efficacy in supporting the female reproductive system is sparse.
