White Nettle (Lamium album), also known as dead-nettle, has a history of use in traditional European herbal medicine. While it is primarily recognized for its applications in supporting urinary tract health, alleviating respiratory complaints, and addressing minor bleeding or inflammation, there are traditional claims suggesting it can help with fatigue or low energy. These claims are often linked to its mild tonic and nutritive properties, as White Nettle contains vitamins, minerals, and mild astringent compounds. Folk practitioners have sometimes recommended the herb as a general “restorative” or for “building the blood,” which, in traditional systems, was associated with increased vitality or energy. However, these uses are not well-documented in authoritative herbal texts, and there is little specificity regarding dosage or preparation for fatigue.
