Several B vitamins (such as B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B12, and folic acid) play central roles in the body's energy metabolism by acting as coenzymes in pathways that convert food into cellular energy (ATP). Deficiencies in these vitamins can lead to fatigue, muscle weakness, and decreased endurance. For example, vitamin B12 deficiency is well-known to cause fatigue and even anemia, while deficiencies in other B vitamins may similarly result in poor energy production. Vitamin C also contributes to reducing tiredness and fatigue, though its effects are less direct compared to B vitamins. Supplementing with a vitamin blend can help restore energy levels in individuals with diagnosed deficiencies or at risk populations (such as older adults, people with malabsorption, or restrictive diets).
