Animal studies have demonstrated that broccoli sprout extracts can reduce atherosclerotic plaque formation and improve vascular function. Small human studies have shown potential benefits, such as reduction in LDL oxidation and improvement in blood pressure, though these studies are often limited by small sample sizes and short durations.
