Ginkgoheteroside is one of the main flavonoid glycosides found in Ginkgo biloba leaves. Ginkgo biloba extract, standardized to contain defined amounts of flavonoid glycosides (including ginkgoheteroside), has been studied for its effects on vascular health, particularly microcirculation and capillary integrity. Several clinical trials and reviews support the use of standardized Ginkgo biloba extracts for improving peripheral circulation, reducing capillary fragility, and enhancing blood flow, especially in elderly subjects and those with circulatory disorders.
