Sulforaphane is a naturally occurring compound found in cruciferous vegetables, especially broccoli sprouts. There is growing scientific interest in its potential role in supporting breast health, largely due to its effects on cellular detoxification pathways and modulation of estrogen metabolism. Experimental studies, including cell culture and animal models, have shown that sulforaphane can induce Phase II detoxification enzymes such as glutathione S-transferase, which may help in the elimination of potential carcinogens from breast tissue.
