Traditionally, Triphala is believed to balance the doshas (bodily energies), improve digestion, and detoxify the body. Since headaches in Ayurveda are sometimes attributed to digestive disturbances or accumulation of toxins ("ama"), Triphala may be recommended to support digestive health and, indirectly, headache relief. However, there is a lack of robust clinical research specifically evaluating Triphala for headache management.
