Sinopsis

El licopeno es un pigmento rojo brillante y un poderoso carotenoide antioxidante que se encuentra más abundantemente en los tomates y los productos a base de tomate. A diferencia del betacaroteno, el licopeno no se convierte en vitamina A, pero proporciona beneficios sustanciales a través de su capacidad de eliminación de radicales libres y la modulación de las vías de señalización celular.
