How to Take Magnesium Complex

Take 2 capsules twice daily with a meal.

Each bottle contains 100 capsules. Two capsules provide 184 mg of Magnesium from both citrate and malate forms.

Magnesium supplements can occasionally cause stomach-related effects such as softening of stool, nausea, or cramping, particularly at higher doses. These effects are more common with inorganic forms like Magnesium oxide and are generally less frequent with organic forms like the citrate and malate used in this formula.

Important drug interactions to be aware of: Magnesium may interact with certain medications. If you take bisphosphonates (e.g., alendronate), separate doses by at least 2 hours. If you take tetracycline or quinolone antibiotics, take the antibiotic at least 2 hours before or 4–6 hours after Magnesium. Loop and thiazide diuretics can deplete Magnesium, while long-term proton pump inhibitor (PPI) use may cause low Magnesium levels.
