How does the at-home lab testing process work?
1. Order your test kit online:
Simply purchase the test through our website like any other product – no prescription needed.
2. Schedule a free consultation with our ND:
After your order, you’ll book a short initial phone consult with Dr. Shannyn Fowl, our in-house Naturopathic Doctor. This is required for all tests and helps ensure you’re getting the right support from the start.
3. Collect your sample at home:
Your kit will arrive with easy-to-follow instructions. Most tests are completed entirely at home using urine, saliva, stool, hair, or breath samples.
Nota: The only exception is the Food Sensitivity Panel, which requires a quick blood draw at a local lab.
4. Mail your sample to the lab:
Use the prepaid mailer included in your kit to send your sample to the lab for analysis.
5. Receive your results in 1–2 weeks:
Once the lab processes your sample, your results will be securely delivered to you, typically within two weeks.
6. Review your results with Dr. Fowl:
You’ll have the opportunity for a follow-up consultation to go over your results in detail and receive personalized guidance – included in the service.

Do I need to see a doctor or go to a lab?
No doctor’s office visit is required for most tests. Everything is done at home, except for the Food Sensitivity Panel, which requires a brief blood draw at a local lab.
How do I know which test I should take?
Yes. These are professional-grade clinical lab tests, processed by certified laboratories typically used by doctors and functional medicine practitioners. They are not over-the-counter kits.
How long does it take to get results?
You’ll usually receive your results within 1–2 weeks after the lab receives your sample.
Will someone explain my results to me?
Yes. Our naturopathic doctor will walk you through your results during a personal follow-up consultation. You’ll get clear, actionable insights — not just numbers.
Can I use insurance for these tests?
Not at this time. These tests are currently self-pay only and not billable to insurance.
Are the tests accurate and legitimate?

Why are the tests priced the way they are?
The cost includes both the lab processing fee y professional time with our ND. These are comprehensive diagnostic tools used in clinical settings, now available without needing a separate doctor’s visit.
Will my health information be kept private?
Absolutely. All results are secure and confidential, shared only with you and our ND for consultation purposes. We follow HIPAA-compliant best practices.
Do I have to buy supplements after testing?
No. There’s no obligation to purchase anything after your test. The goal of these tests is to provide you real answers to your health questions.
