Echinacea / Golden Seal

This product has saved me from more long-term colds and allergy attacks over the years than I can count. While I am now strong enough now to use most any Ech-Goldenseal product, this comes in at the top of one of the most pure, if not purest. The sicker you are, the more you need something pure. When you get better, your liver can deal with filtering out toxins better, and if you can't always afford the top of the line, you can get a lower-grade one. I still prefer Nature's Sunshine as a product choice. Why stress your liver more than necessary? I take 2 at the first sign of a cold or sneeze, and keep it up every time I sneeze. It 2 isn't improving it, I take 3, or even 4. Then I stay at that level and take it every 3-5 hours when awake until I see improvement, then I begin to cut down the next day or the day after. I usually never need it more than 4-5 days if I am regular with it. I sometimes add Sambucol Elderberry if it is especially stubborn- seems to give it a faster result at times. But not really needed if you are patient!!

I have used this Herb Combo for many years. It is the best for helping in the spring with allergies and in the fall for cold season. I rarely have problems with either when I start taking Echinacea/Golden Seal a few weeks ahead of the seasonal changes.
