CleanStart Wild Berry Cleanse 14 Day Program

Discover how the cleanstart wild berry cleanse 14 day program supports colon cleansing, digestion, and well-being with fiber, herbs, and probiotics.

Program Overview

What Is the CleanStart Wild Berry Cleanse 14 Day Program?

The cleanstart wild berry cleanse 14 day program is a two-week internal cleansing system designed to rid the colon of toxins that may affect general health. As it works through your digestive system, it promotes natural cleansing processes, may help boost energy, and supports a sense of well-being — all without dangerous side effects.

Each day of the program includes two components: drink packets containing psyllium hulls, bentonite clay, aloe vera juice, chlorophyll, potassium, stevia, and natural wild berry flavoring, plus capsule packets that each contain 1 Enviro-Detox capsule and 2 LBS II® capsules to promote waste elimination. One day of CleanStart provides 10 grams of fiber to help the digestive system move waste efficiently.

The program includes 28 daily drink packets and 28 capsule packets — enough for the full 14-day cycle when taken twice daily. For those who prefer a gentler approach, a CleanStart Mild formula is also available.

How It Works

A Two-Part Approach to Internal Cleansing

The cleanstart wild berry cleanse 14 day program works through a deliberate two-part strategy. The cleanse drink packets deliver soluble fiber and binding agents that help sweep accumulated waste through the digestive tract. The capsule packets contain herbal ingredients traditionally used as stimulant laxatives and digestive-system supporters, promoting peristalsis and encouraging elimination.

This dual-action design addresses the colon from two angles: the drink packets provide bulk and binding capacity, while the capsule ingredients stimulate the muscular contractions that move waste along the intestinal tract. Many of the herbs in this formula have centuries of documented use in Western, Ayurvedic, and Traditional Chinese Medicine cleansing traditions.

Who Benefits

Who Is This Cleanse Designed For?

The cleanstart wild berry cleanse 14 day program may be a good fit for adults looking for a structured, time-limited cleansing protocol to support digestive regularity, promote natural waste elimination, and encourage a renewed sense of well-being. It is commonly chosen by those experiencing occasional sluggish digestion or constipation who want a short-term herbal cleansing program.

Because it combines fiber-based bulk action with traditional herbal laxative support, it appeals to people who want more than just a single-ingredient approach. The wild berry flavored drink packets also make it palatable for those who struggle with the taste of typical herbal cleanse products.

What's inside

Key ingredients

Cascara sagrada bark — 850 mg
Cascara sagrada (Rhamnus purshiana bark) is a traditional North American laxative used by Native Americans for centuries. Research has identified its active cascarosides — anthraquinone derivatives — which stimulate colonic peristalsis and inhibit water reabsorption in the colon, producing a bowel movement within approximately 6–12 hours. It was formerly an FDA-approved OTC laxative and remains widely used in colon-cleanse formulations. Its anthraquinone glycosides act locally on the large intestine, and the species has historically been used in whole-body cleanse protocols as a bowel evacuant to support elimination pathways.
Buckthorn bark — 850 mg
Buckthorn (Rhamnus cathartica and Frangula alnus) bark has been traditionally used across European herbal systems as a colon-cleansing agent, recognized in pharmacopoeias dating to the 1650 London Pharmacopoeia. Its anthraquinone glycosides stimulate colon motility, and the European Medicines Agency has recognized it for short-term constipation treatment. The colon is the primary site of Buckthorn's pharmacological action: anthraquinone glycosides are converted by colonic bacteria into active metabolites that directly stimulate propulsive colonic contractions and inhibit water reabsorption.
Licorice root — 850 mg
Licorice root (Glycyrrhiza glabra/uralensis) is traditionally used in colon-cleanse formulations for its demulcent, anti-inflammatory, and mild laxative properties that may soothe the intestinal lining and support bowel function. The German Commission E and EMA recognize licorice for gastrointestinal complaints. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, it is a key harmonizing herb frequently included in bowel-cleansing formulas to help balance the actions of stronger stimulant herbs.
Capsicum fruit — 850 mg
Capsicum (Capsicum annuum) fruit contains capsaicin and related capsaicinoids that stimulate gastrointestinal motility and secretion. Traditionally used to improve digestion and treat dyspepsia and flatulence, Capsicum acts through the TRPV1 receptor expressed in GI sensory neurons. Research suggests it may support digestive motility and increase parietal, Pepsin, and bile acid secretions, making it a traditional circulatory and digestive stimulant in cleansing formulations.
Ginger rhizome — 850 mg (also present at 486 mg in the capsule formula)
Ginger (Zingiber officinale) is a well-documented prokinetic herb. Multiple randomized controlled trials have demonstrated its efficacy in accelerating gastric emptying and intestinal transit. Its active gingerols and shogaols act as 5-HT4 receptor agonists and motilin agonists, stimulating peristalsis. Ginger is used widely in Ayurvedic, Chinese, and Western herbal cleanse formulations as a digestive tonic that supports bowel function and reduces digestive inflammation. The German Commission E approved Ginger for dyspepsia and GI motility.
Couch grass rhizome — 850 mg
Couch grass (Elymus repens) rhizome has been traditionally used in European herbalism as a demulcent diuretic and urinary tract support herb. The German Commission E approved it for irrigation therapy in inflammatory diseases of the urinary tract and prevention of kidney gravel. Its carbohydrate constituents — including mannitol, inulin, and mucilage — are believed to support diuretic function, while its volatile compound agropyrene has demonstrated antimicrobial activity in laboratory studies.
Oregon grape root and rhizome — 850 mg
Oregon grape (Mahonia aquifolium) root contains berberine and other isoquinoline alkaloids traditionally used in North American tribal medicine as a gastrointestinal aid. As a bitter tonic, it historically stimulates secretion of hydrochloric acid, bile, and digestive enzymes. Oregon grape fruit has been traditionally used as a gentle laxative, and the root bark is classified as having laxative action in herbal materia medica. Berberine has documented anti-diarrheal effects and may inhibit gut pathogen adherence.
Red clover flowers — 850 mg (root also present at 486 mg)
Red clover (Trifolium pratense) has been classified in Western herbalism as an alterative — a class of herbs that traditionally supports the detoxification functions of the liver and lymphatic systems. Indigenous peoples of North America used Red clover as a spring tonic and blood purifier. Its isoflavones, including biochanin A and formononetin, provide antioxidant activity. Russian folk healers and traditional Chinese physicians have historically used Red clover for clearing heat and supporting skin health.
turkey Rhubarb root — 850 mg
Rhubarb root (Rheum palmatum/officinale) is one of the most extensively documented herbal laxatives, recognized by the European Pharmacopoeia and German Commission E for short-term constipation management. Its anthraquinone glycosides — including sennosides, emodin, and rhein — stimulate colonic peristalsis within 8–12 hours. A double-blind RCT in middle-aged adults confirmed bowel-movement improvement and gut microbiome modulation. In TCM, rhubarb is a primary 'purging' and 'detoxifying' herb used to eliminate pathogenic heat and stagnation.
Burdock root — 486 mg
Burdock root (Arctium lappa) is one of the most established 'alterative' herbs in Western herbalism, traditionally used to purify blood and support detoxification through urinary and digestive pathways. Its inulin content — up to 50% of dry weight — acts as a prebiotic in the colon, selectively enriching beneficial bacteria and producing short-chain fatty acids. An open-label RCT found Burdock tea significantly reduced recurrence of colonic diverticulitis. Multiple animal studies confirm hepatoprotective effects via antioxidant mechanisms.
Dandelion root — 486 mg
Dandelion root (Taraxacum officinale) is a traditional cholagogue and bile-stimulating herb used across European, Chinese, and Native American herbalism. Its bitter sesquiterpene lactones stimulate bile production and bile flow, while its inulin content supports prebiotic activity. The Commission E recognizes Dandelion for digestive complaints including dyspepsia and loss of appetite. Preclinical studies demonstrate hepatoprotective effects against alcohol, carbon tetrachloride, and paracetamol-induced liver injury.
Fenugreek seed — 486 mg
Fenugreek (Trigonella foenum-graecum) seeds are rich in water-soluble galactomannan fiber that promotes stool softening and improved intestinal transit. The mucilaginous properties of the seeds coat the intestinal lining, easing passage. Fenugreek has been used for thousands of years in Ayurvedic, Traditional Chinese, and Middle Eastern medicine as a digestive tonic, laxative, and for treating dyspepsia. Some clinical evidence supports its prebiotic effects on gut microbiota.
Pepsin — 486 mg
Pepsin is the principal proteolytic enzyme of the stomach, responsible for breaking down proteins into smaller peptides and amino acids for absorption in the small intestine. First discovered in 1836 by Theodor Schwann, it is activated by hydrochloric acid in the stomach and works optimally at low pH. In supplement form, Pepsin is derived from porcine gastric mucosa and is included in digestive formulas to support protein digestion, particularly for individuals who may have reduced endogenous enzyme production.
yellow dock root — 486 mg
Yellow root (Xanthorhiza simplicissima) contains berberine as its primary active alkaloid — a compound with documented antimicrobial properties in laboratory studies. The Cherokee and other southeastern Native American tribes used Yellow root preparations as a tonic, for treating ulcers and digestive issues, and as a blood purifier. Its berberine content has been studied in multiple meta-analyses for metabolic effects, though clinical research on whole Yellow root preparations remains limited.
Marshmallow root extract — 486 mg
Marshmallow root (Althaea officinalis) contains high mucilage content — up to 35% of dry weight — that forms a soothing, protective layer on mucous membranes throughout the gastrointestinal tract. The European Medicines Agency recognizes Marshmallow root for soothing mucous membranes, and the German Commission E approved it for mild inflammation of the gastric mucosa. Its demulcent properties may help ease the intestinal lining during a cleansing program.
Sarsaparilla root extract — 486 mg
Sarsaparilla (Smilax spp.) root occupies a central role in traditional herbal medicine as a systemic 'alterative' or blood purifier — a concept spanning indigenous American, European, and Chinese systems. It was officially listed in the U.S. Pharmacopoeia from 1820 to 1920. Its saponins, including sarsasapogenin, have demonstrated an ability to bind endotoxins in laboratory research, which provides a partial mechanistic basis for its traditional use in cleansing formulations. Preclinical studies also suggest hepatoprotective activity.
Bacillus coagulans — 486 mg
Bacillus coagulans is a spore-forming probiotic bacterium whose spores survive gastric transit and germinate in the large intestine, producing lactic acid and modulating the colonic microbiome. Multiple randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trials demonstrate its benefits for IBS symptoms including abdominal pain, bloating, and stool consistency. A double-blind RCT of Bacillus coagulans BC99 in 90 adults over 8 weeks significantly increased spontaneous bowel movement frequency and reduced constipation symptom scores.
Echinacea purpurea root extract — 486 mg
Echinacea purpurea (purple coneflower) root contains alkylamides, polysaccharides, and caffeic acid derivatives that contribute to immunomodulatory activity. Among its pharmacological properties, macrophage activation has been demonstrated most convincingly in research — phagocytic indices and macrophage-derived cytokine concentrations have been shown to be Echinacea-responsive in multiple assays. In Germany, the above-ground parts of Echinacea purpurea are approved for upper respiratory tract infections and slow-healing wounds.
Milk thistle seed extract — 486 mg
Milk thistle (Silybum marianum) contains silymarin, a flavonolignan complex used for over 2,000 years as a hepatoprotective remedy. Its antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and antifibrotic properties support liver detoxification by scavenging free radicals, enhancing glutathione levels, and stabilizing cellular membranes. A 2023 systematic review of 29 RCTs found that 65.5% of studies reported reduced liver enzyme levels with silymarin supplementation. Its cholagogue properties also support bile flow during cleansing protocols.
